And yet… On September 19th 1973, he was found dead of a morphine overdose at the Joshua Tree Inn, aged 26. Using first-hand accounts and drama reconstruction, this film investigates Parsons’s death and how it reflects a turbulent life of addiction and loss, rooted in a privileged but deeply unhappy childhood. But it also looks to answer questions about how he died and the bizarre events that were to follow…
